This trip will give me the opportunity to help others and at the same time give him a unique experience that could not be recreated in the classroom; I can also gain a CoPE Level 3 qualification which will give me 70 UCAS points (equivalent to an A at AS-level).

I will be going to Kenya in July 2013 for a month. There, I will live as part of a community and..

  • Have the opportunity to work on important projects to improve the standard of living for rural communities
  • Participate in ongoing conservation initiatives to protect valuable wildlife and the environment
  • Learn about elephant conservation
  • Have the opportunity to go on a safari in one of Kenya’s Premier National Parks
  • Trek to the summit of Mount Kenya.
