Over halfway! 16/06/2010



Today we catered for an open day

at Whitewater canoe centre in 

Shepperton Marina.

Lasting from 9 till 6 we served tea

and coffee and cooked burgers

and sausages for customers and

standholders. After counting up the

money we made a profit of £386! I

have also recently done some

gardening for our close neighbour and received a generous donation of £25. These two events have tipped me over the halfway mark! A big thanks to my parents for all the help they gave during the bbq, I couldn't of done it without them.



Ideas... 17/05/2012



The group had a fundraising meeting yesterday and we all came up with lots of ideas and are going to plan two events each. My events are a BBQ at our sports day (unfortunately only the school is involved in this one) on the 17th July 2012 and writing to supermarkets ask to be allowed to pack bags for customers. It is likely we will be doing this during the Christmas period, when people are feeling at their most generous!

I have collected lots of things for our car boot including typewriters to school trousers to even a fish tank! So make sure you remember to come along!

Also you may have noticed my fundraising total has gone up! This is because I have recieved my money from a car wash before half term, it is now up to £1122.50!

Fundraising so far... 13/05/2012​

 

My fundraising total is currently £1100, and this is all thanks to hard work! I have found myself a job and all income from that is going straight into the pot! Everyone else on the trip and I have done a car wash at school raising a total of £20 each, and we have been meeting  up to think of new ideas. Our current plan is to pack bags at supermarkets such as sainsburys and do a BBQ at our sports day. As a group our plan is to fundraise mainly together, as the bigger the event the better!
